The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated recruitment for various non-teaching positions under Group A, B, and C through the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026. CBSE Group A B C Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: For Group A posts like Assistant Secretary and Assistant Director, a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (with at least 55% marks for certain roles) from a recognized university is required. Group B roles such as Superintendent need a Bachelor's Degree with computer knowledge. Group C positions like Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant require 12th Class with specific subjects and typing skills.
• Age Limit: As on December 22, 2025, the maximum age varies - 35 years for Assistant Secretary and Accounts Officer, 30 years for Assistant Director and others, 27 years for Junior Accountant and Assistant. Relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD (UR), and more for ESM and women.
• Additional Requirements: Indian citizenship is mandatory. Experience is needed for select posts like Accounts Officer (3 years) and Junior Translation Officer (3 years in translation).
