CHC Reader Legal Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks in English and hold an LL.B. degree from a recognised university. Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing and spreadsheets, is required.
  • Age limit: For direct recruitment, candidates should be between 35 and 40 years as on 04.08.2025. Relaxation for ex-servicemen as per rules. No age limit for departmental candidates.
  • Additional requirements: For departmental posts, candidates must be serving employees in specified categories with at least 5 years of experience. Reservation benefits apply only to domiciles of Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh with valid certificates.
