The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially released the MP SET Admit Card 2026 on 20 February 2026 for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 cycle. This hall ticket is mandatory for all registered candidates appearing in the MP SET Exam scheduled for 1 March 2026 (Sunday) across various examination centres in Madhya Pradesh. The MP SET serves as the gateway for determining eligibility for Assistant Professor positions in government and aided colleges/universities across the state. MP SET Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) for General, EWS and OBC (Creamy Layer) categories. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/PwD) require 50% marks. Final-year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply, provided they fulfil the percentage criteria at the time of document verification.
  • Age Limit There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in the MP SET 2026.
  • Additional Requirements Candidates must choose only one subject in which they have completed (or are pursuing) their postgraduate degree. Domicile of Madhya Pradesh is not mandatory for application, but certain fee concessions apply only to MP residents.

No interview is conducted for the SET itself. Qualifying the test makes candidates eligible for Assistant Professor recruitment as per UGC and state government norms.

Instructions for Downloading the MP SET Admit Card 2026

  1. Visit the official website mppsc.mp.gov.in or directly go to the MP Online portal.
  2. On the homepage, locate and click on the “Admit Card” or “MP SET Admit Card 2026” link under the latest announcements.
  3. You will be redirected to the login page.
  4. Enter your Application Number / Registration Number and Date of Birth (or Password).
  5. Complete the security captcha and click on “Submit” or “Login”.

  7. Download the PDF and take at least 2-3 coloured printouts on A4 size paper.
