The Mains exam is conventional (descriptive) in nature. Candidates appearing for engineering papers are permitted to carry a non-programmable scientific calculator. Only marks obtained in the Mains and Personality/Viva-voce stages are considered for final merit.
- Stage 3 — Personality Test / Interview: Qualifying candidates from the Mains stage are called for the Interview round. It assesses technical knowledge, communication, and overall suitability for the post.
- Stage 4 — Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates provisionally selected post-interview will undergo document verification and a medical fitness check as per government norms.
- Final Stage — Merit List Declaration: The final merit list is drawn on the basis of combined performance in the Mains examination and Interview. The merit list is published on the official portal at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
