RRB Technician Grade 3 Exam 2026 Overview
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have officially released the revised exam dates for the much-awaited RRB Technician Grade 3 and Technician Grade I (Signal) recruitment under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) 02/2025. This pan-India recruitment drive aims to fill 6,238 technical posts across various railway zones, offering stable government jobs with good pay and benefits to eligible candidates who applied between June and August 2025. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will now be conducted on 6th, 9th, 10th, and 13th March 2026 in multiple shifts. RRB Technician Grade 3 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification
- Technician Grade I Signal: B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/IT/Instrumentation OR Three-year Diploma OR Degree in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- Technician Grade III (all trades): Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade OR Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the specified trade.
- Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 years
- Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 years
- Upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD, and additional relaxation for ex-servicemen, J&K domiciled candidates, and serving railway employees. Candidates must carefully check the exact age criteria for their applied post in the official notification.
