TNPSC APP Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold a B.L. degree from a university recognized by the UGC and be a member of the Bar with at least 5 years of active practice in criminal courts. They should also possess adequate knowledge of Tamil, demonstrated through relevant qualifications or tests.
- Age limit as on 01 July 2025: Minimum 26 years. For others, maximum 36 years (with relaxations up to 46 years for persons with benchmark disabilities and 50 years for ex-servicemen). For SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, and BCMs, there is no maximum age limit, provided they have not completed 60 years.
- Additional requirements include physical fitness standards, with visual acuity as per Standard-III or better, and suitability for specified categories of benchmark disabilities (LD, LC, DF, AC).
