- Educational Qualification: For Sub-Inspector (Confidential): Bachelor's degree with O Level computer certificate or equivalent, Hindi typing speed of 25 wpm, English typing 30 wpm, and Hindi stenography 80 wpm. For Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk): Bachelor's degree with O Level or equivalent, Hindi typing 25 wpm, English 30 wpm. For Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts): B.Com degree with O Level or equivalent, Hindi typing 15 wpm.
- Age limit: 20 to 28 years as on 1 July 2023 (relaxations apply for reserved categories as per government norms).
