AFCAT 01/2026 Answer Key Overview

The Indian Air Force has officially released the AFCAT 01/2026 provisional answer key on 1 February 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Air Force Common Admission Test conducted on 31 January 2026 can now download their answer key along with response sheet and question paper through candidate login on the official portal. The exam was held for 340 vacancies in Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches for courses commencing in January 2027. Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key if they find any discrepancies.

AFCAT 01/2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification — Graduation with minimum 60% marks (Flying & GD Non-Tech), B.E/B.Tech with 60% (GD Technical)

• Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027) — Flying Branch: 20–24 years (26 years for CPL holders); Ground Duty: 20–26 years

• Mandatory Requirement — Unmarried Indian Citizens (Male & Female)

• Age Relaxation — As per government rules (applicable for certain categories)

1. AFCAT Online Written Examination (plus EKT for Technical candidates)

2. Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) – Stage I (Screening) and Stage II (Psychological tests, Group Tasks, Interview)

3. Medical Examination at designated centres

4. Final merit list preparation and branch allotment

5. Training at Air Force Academy for selected candidates
