Delhi Police HCM 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) examination or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Must possess a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English OR 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer (corresponding to 9000/7500 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2025)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 25 years
- Birth date should fall between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2007 (both dates inclusive).
- Age relaxation is allowed as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years (extra relaxation for reserved categories where applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms

Quantitative Aptitude: Covers number systems, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, mensuration, geometry, trigonometry, and statistical charts.
General Intelligence: Includes analogies, classifications, series, coding-decoding, problem-solving, word building, space orientation, Venn diagrams, drawing inferences, punched hole/pattern folding, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence.
English Language: Focuses on spotting errors, fill in the blanks, synonyms/antonyms, spellings, idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, active/passive voice, direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentences, cloze passage, and comprehension.
Computer Fundamentals: Encompasses elements of word processing, MS Excel (spreadsheets, editing cells, functions), communication (e-mail basics), internet, WWW, web browsers, search engines, and e-banking.
