KVS NVS Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: For Principal - Master's Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed.; for PGT - Master's in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed.; for TGT - Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks, B.Ed., and CTET Paper-II; for PRT - Senior Secondary with 50% marks, D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed., and CTET Paper-I; for Non-Teaching - Varies by post, e.g., Graduate for Assistant Section Officer.
• Age Limit (as on 04 December 2025): Principal - 35-50 years; PGT - Up to 40 years; TGT - Up to 35 years; PRT - Up to 30 years; Non-Teaching - Varies (e.g., 18-45 years for Administrative Officer).
• Mandatory Requirement: CTET for TGT/PRT posts (except certain categories); Proficiency in Hindi/English; Computer knowledge for relevant posts.

KVS NVS Selection Process

1. Tier-1 Written Exam (Preliminary/Qualifying, OMR-based).
2. Tier-2 Written Exam (Subject Knowledge, Objective and Descriptive).
3. Interview (for Leadership/Teaching posts, 100 marks).
4. Skill Test (for Stenographer/JSA, Typing/Shorthand/Computer Proficiency).
5. Final Merit based on Tier-2 (85%) + Interview (15%) for applicable posts; Document Verification.
