NEET UG Eligibility Criteria

• Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Minimum aggregate marks: 50% for General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, and 45% for General-PwD, 40% for reserved-PwD.
• Age limit: Minimum 17 years as on December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit.
• Entrance exam requirement: Qualification in NEET UG 2026 is mandatory for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses.
• Additional official conditions: Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible. No limit on the number of attempts.
