TG TET Answer Key Overview

The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, conducts the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) to certify eligible candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools across the state. This qualifying exam assesses the aptitude and knowledge required for teaching Classes 1 to 8. The response sheet, along with the provisional answer key, helps candidates verify their answers and estimate scores before the final results. TG TET Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: For Paper I (Classes 1-5) - Intermediate/Senior Secondary with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently-abled) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year B.El.Ed or equivalent. For Paper II (Classes 6-8) - Graduation with 50% marks (45% for reserved) and B.Ed or equivalent as per NCTE guidelines.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as on November 15, 2025; no upper age limit.
• Mandatory Requirement: Qualifications must align with NCTE norms for teacher eligibility.
• Age Relaxation: Not applicable due to no upper age limit.
• Any other official conditions: Candidates appearing in final year of qualifying education programs are eligible, subject to passing before certificate issuance.

TG TET Selection Process

1. Written Examination: Candidates appear for Paper I, Paper II, or both based on desired teaching level.
2. Qualifying Marks: 60% for General, 50% for BC, 40% for SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen.
3. Certificate Issuance: Qualifying candidates receive TET certificate valid for lifetime.
4. Weightage: TET score carries 20% weightage in future teacher recruitment tests in Telangana.

How to download TG TET Answer Key

1. Visit the official TG TET website at tgtet.aptonline.in.
2. Click on the 'Initial Key' link on the homepage for the provisional answer key PDF.
3. Select the relevant paper and session to download the key directly (no login required).
4. For the response sheet, click on 'Response Sheet' and log in using Journal Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth.
5. View or download the response sheet to compare with the answer key.
6. Save the files for reference and proceed to objections if needed.
