APPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent from accredited foreign university. Relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) at Master's and Bachelor's level for ST/SC candidates. Must have cleared NET by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited test like SLET/SET, or awarded PhD per UGC regulations 2009/2016 with specified conditions.
• Age Limit (as on cut-off date mentioned in noti): Up to 30 years for general (35 years for ST/SC). For APST candidates, upper age limit is 37 years with further 5 years relaxation per recruitment rules.
• Mandatory Requirement (e.g. valid PET score): NET/SLET/SET or PhD exemption as per UGC norms; no PET mentioned.
• Age Relaxation (brief): 5 years for APST; additional for PwBD and government servants per rules.
