BEL Project Engineer Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related disciplines from AICTE/UGC approved institution with Pass Class; minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification industrial experience.
• Age Limit (as on February 1, 2026): Upper age limit 32 years for General/EWS candidates.
• Mandatory Requirement: Relevant post-qualification experience in electronics/defence projects preferred.
• Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD; additional relaxations as per government norms.
• Any other official conditions: Candidates must meet all criteria specified in the advertisement; experience must be full-time and verifiable.

BEL Project Engineer Selection Process 

1. Stage 1: Written Test (85 marks) covering technical and general aptitude.
2. Stage 2: Personal Interview (15 marks) for shortlisted candidates.
