BTSC JE Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute or equivalent.
• Age Limit (as on August 1, 2025): 18 to 37 years for General Male.
• Mandatory Requirement: Relevant technical diploma in non-distance mode.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 40 years for General Female/OBC/EBC, 42 years for SC/ST; as per Bihar government rules.
• Any other official conditions: Candidates must be Indian citizens and physically fit as per standards.

BTSC JE Selection Process 

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) on technical and general subjects.
2. Document Verification based on merit.
3. Final: Medical Examination for selected candidates.
