Gujarat Police SI Eligibility Criteria

• For PSI (Wireless) and Technical Operator: You need a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics Engineering, IT, or Computer Engineering.  
• For PSI (Motor Transport): Bachelor’s in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.  
• For Head Constable Driver Mechanic: 12th pass + ITI in Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic (or similar), plus a valid heavy vehicle license and experience.
• Age: Between 33 and 35 years as of Jan 29, 2026, depending on the job. Reserved categories get up to 5-10 years extra, with a max age of 45.  
• Other Must-Haves: Basic computer skills, Gujarati/Hindi language, clean criminal record, Gujarat domicile for reservation benefits, and physical fitness. Driver posts need a valid license.
