Haryana PGT Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Computer Science / MCA / B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT with at least 55% marks; Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject up to Matric or higher; HTET/STET qualified.
• Age Limit: 18 to 42 years as on March 9, 2026
• Mandatory Requirement: Valid HTET/STET score
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/BC of Haryana, PwBD (10 years if SC/BC), ESM (service + 3 years), certain women categories (5 years); up to 52 years max in specified cases
• Any other official conditions: Proof of age via Matric certificate; 33% horizontal reservation for women

Haryana PGT Selection Process 

1. Screening Test (100 MCQs, 100 marks)
2. Subject Knowledge Test (150 marks)
3. Final: Interview (12.5% weightage); merit based on combined scores
