Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released the official notification for engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for 2026-27. A total of 608 tentative training slots are available in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines across various states and locations in India. The one-year apprenticeship follows the Apprentices Act, 1961, and offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000. Candidates need to be registered on NATS 2.0 portal and meet the eligibility norms. HPCL Graduate Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduation (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation with 60% aggregate marks for UR/OBC-NC and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH/MD). Must have completed degree after 01 April 2023. Qualifications recognized by UGC/AICTE/equivalent.
  • Age Limit (as on 02 March 2026): Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
  • Mandatory Requirement: Must be registered and approved on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal by Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT). No prior apprenticeship contract or one year+ work experience.
  • Age Relaxation (brief): 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NC, 10 years for PwBD (as per Govt guidelines/Apprentices Act).
  • Any other official conditions: Only Indian nationals. One application only. Percentage calculation as per university norms (fraction ignored).
