HPCL Officers Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must be full-time regular course from AICTE/UGC recognised institute. Minimum marks – 60% for UR/OBC-NC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD (except CA/CMA positions). Final-year students of 2025-26 batch can apply (subject to producing proof at joining).
- Age Limit (as on 25 March 2026): 25 years for most Junior Executive & Engineer freshers posts; 27 years for Finance/HR freshers; up to 45 years for senior experienced roles (varies by post and experience level).
- Mandatory Requirement: Indian National only. Valid documents for qualification, experience, caste/PwBD/EWS. For Safety posts – relevant Industrial Safety qualification + regional language knowledge where specified.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NC, 10/13/15 years for PwBD (UR/OBC/SC-ST), 5 years for Ex-Servicemen & J&K domiciled candidates. Additional 2 years relaxation for candidates with more than minimum required experience.
- Experience: Nil for freshers posts; 1 to 18+ years post-qualification for experienced posts (teaching/research experience not counted). HPCL apprentices get special age relaxation and extra marks in CBT.
