HSSC Forest Guard Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or higher education.
• Age Limit: 18 to 42 years as on 23 March 2026.
• Mandatory Requirement: Qualified in Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/BC candidates, 10 years for PWD, as per Haryana Government instructions
• Any other official conditions: Physical Standards - Male: Height 168 cm, Chest 79 cm (unexpanded) to 84 cm (expanded); Female: Height 155 cm. Physical Efficiency Test - Male: 25 km walk in 4 hours; Female: 14 km walk in 4 hours

HSSC Forest Guard Selection Process 

1. Shortlisting based on CET Score (up to 10 times the vacancies)
2. Written Examination (Knowledge Test - 100 MCQs, 100 marks)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
4. Final: Merit list based on exam performance
