NIT Calicut Apprentices Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the qualifying examination as regular students on or after 2022 from a recognized university or state board. For Graduate: Relevant degree (e.g., M.Lib.I.Sc, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm) with at least 60% marks. For Diploma: Relevant diploma (e.g., in Commercial Practice, Computer Science, GNM). For ITI: ITI certificate in the concerned trade.
• Age Limit (as on February 9, 2026): For Graduate - UR: 28 years; For Diploma - UR: 30 years; For ITI - UR: 26 years.
• Mandatory Requirement: No ongoing apprenticeship or training in any sector for one year or more.
• Age Relaxation: OBC: 3 years; SC/ST: 5 years across categories.
• Any other official conditions: Candidates cannot combine this apprenticeship with studies or other training programs.
