Yantra India Limited, a key player under the Ministry of Defence, has released the notification for the 59th batch of Trade Apprentices. YIL Trade Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: For Non-ITI: Passed Madhyamik (Class 10 or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in Mathematics and Science each. For Ex-ITI: Passed Madhyamik (Class 10 or equivalent) with 50% marks, plus ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT with minimum 50% marks.
• Age Limit: Minimum 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades); Maximum 35 years for all categories as on March 3, 2026.
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must not have undergone prior apprenticeship or hold NAC certificate.
• Age Relaxation: As per government rules for reserved categories (incorporated in the upper limit of 35 years for all).
• Any other official conditions: Eligibility based on qualifications as on closing date; Aadhaar card preferred.

YIL Trade Apprentice Selection Process 

1. Preparation of merit list based on marks (factory-wise and trade-wise for Ex-ITI; aggregate for Non-ITI).
2. Document verification for provisionally selected candidates.
3. Final: Medical examination.

1. Visit the official application portal at recruit-gov.com.
2. Register by filling basic details, verifying mobile number and email via OTP.
3. Receive login ID and password via email.
4. Log in and complete the application form with personal, educational, and trade details.
5. Upload scanned copies of photo, signature, Aadhaar/ID proof, marksheets, ITI certificate (if applicable), and caste certificate.
6. Review all entered information and make the fee payment online.
7. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation for records.
