YIL Trade Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: For Non-ITI: Passed Madhyamik (Class 10 or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in Mathematics and Science each. For Ex-ITI: Passed Madhyamik (Class 10 or equivalent) with 50% marks, plus ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT with minimum 50% marks.
- Age Limit: Minimum 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades); Maximum 35 years for all categories as on March 3, 2026.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must not have undergone prior apprenticeship or hold NAC certificate.
- Age Relaxation: As per government rules for reserved categories (incorporated in the upper limit of 35 years for all).
- Any other official conditions: Eligibility based on qualifications as on closing date; Aadhaar card preferred.
