DDA Legal Assistant Merit List 2026 Overview

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has released the merit-wise provisional select list for the post of Legal Assistant (Post Code 11) under Direct Recruitment 2025 (Advt. No. 09/2025). The result was declared on 19 February 2026 and is available on the official website dda.gov.in. A total of 7 vacancies were notified for the Legal Assistant post. The selection is based on performance in the single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted on 16 December 2025. DDA Legal Assistant Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Regular Degree in Law (entitling registration at Bar and appearance before Courts) from a recognised University or equivalent + 03 years’ experience at Bar.
• Age Limit (as on 05.11.2025): 30 years (relaxation as per rules).
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must fulfil the experience criteria and submit valid documents during verification.
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules (applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM etc.).
• For DDA Employees: Regular Degree in Law + 03 years regular service in DDA.

DDA Legal Assistant Expected Cutoff Marks

• The DDA Legal Assistant Result 2026 is purely merit-based on CBT performance. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR, 35% for OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST categories (relaxation possible for PwBD/ESM at DDA’s discretion).
• The actual selection cut-off is determined by the number of vacancies and candidate performance. Individual CBT scores of all provisionally selected candidates are mentioned in the official PDF (highest scores around 119+ out of 150). No separate category-wise cut-off marks have been published. DDA Legal Assistant Selection Process

1. Single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) – 150 objective questions (100 marks on discipline-specific topics + current affairs; 50 marks on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English & Computer Knowledge). Duration: 2 hours. Negative marking: 1/3.
2. Document verification of provisionally selected candidates.
3. Final: Merit list prepared purely on CBT marks (normalised if required). No interview for this post.
