OPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate, or integrated six-year Post Graduate Master's Course from Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT with minimum 50% marks.
• Age Limit (as on 01 January 2024): Minimum 21 years, maximum 38 years.
• Mandatory Requirement: B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution (mandatory for subjects like Botany, Chemistry, Economics, etc.; not mandatory for Commerce, Geology, etc.).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen; 10 years for PwD (permanent disability 40% or more); cumulative up to 15 years for SC/ST/SEBC PwD.
• Any other official conditions: Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia; passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject or equivalent.
