GPSSB Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification — For Gram Sevak, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university. For Pashudhan Nirikshak, a Diploma in Livestock Inspector or equivalent veterinary science certification is mandatory.
• Age Limit — Applicants must be between 18 to 36 years of age as of the last date of application.
• Mandatory Requirement — Basic knowledge of computer operations as per the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules is essential. Proficiency in Gujarati and/or Hindi language is required.
• Age Relaxation — Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per State Government norms: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Male) and 10 years for Female candidates of reserved categories.
• Nationality / Domicile — The candidate must be a citizen of India. Preference is naturally given to those with a Gujarat domicile for reservation benefits.
